International designers take heed of Jordan's potential

Brenda de Jager

It is no surprise that international designers are taking note of the potentials of the Jordanian handicrafts sector.  Dutch jewellery designer Brenda de Jager worked with the local women of Wild Jordan cooperatives to create unique and memorable pieces that capture the essence of Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.  With her meticulous attention to detail, she created a "take home a piece of Jordan" jewellery line that uses actual stones, carefully selected and matched from Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, bound in steel and silver with a very quaint rustic looking packaging.

Brenda's works are on display on our store under the "Silver and Accesories" section.
